TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

Location: ATHENS

Responsibilities
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for:
⦁ designing and updating job descriptions
⦁ planning and implementing short and long-term sourcing strategies
⦁ interviewing and assessing candidates’ qualifications based on company’s policies and needs
⦁ providing shortlists and evaluations of qualified candidates to hiring managers
⦁ identifying opportunities to build applicant pools
⦁ continuously developing networks and partnerships to actively build database/pipeline of candidates
⦁ representing the company at recruiting events (e.g college career days) and use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates
⦁ actively working toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the company
⦁ ensuring proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
⦁ be the point of contact with consulting agencies for any additional recruiting needs
⦁ arranging pre-employment testing, background & references checks
⦁ creating offer letters, maintaining applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and performing any administrative work needed (e.g. ensuring that new hire processes & documentation are complete)
⦁ conducting regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts
⦁ collaborating with managers to identify future hiring needs

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this Talent Acquisition Specialist role should have:
⦁ at least 2-4 years previous experience seeking talent recruitment and assisting with onboarding processes (experience in recruiting marketing roles, will be considered a plus)
⦁ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or HR, strongly preferred
⦁ proficient in using company software and databases to connect with and reach out to potential candidates
⦁ strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
⦁ demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques and experience in online/social media recruiting
⦁ fluency in both written and verbal English
