UNISON Group, in the framework of its strategic expansion, is looking to include a Payroll Manager to its constantly growing team.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure payroll is completed in an accurate compliant and timely manner
- Oversee the preparation of payroll related documents
- Lead the entire HR Payroll Services team in collecting and processing data regarding employees’ time attendance, absences, illnesses etc
- Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Resolve payroll enquiries in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all national laws and regulations in payroll calculations and documents filling
- Supervise and direct payroll team
- Provide training and support to all members of the Payroll Services team when required
- review and improve payroll policies and procedures
- support all internal and external audits related to payroll
- Create and monitor payroll metrics and engage in monthly and ad-hoc reporting when needed
- Implement new payroll systems or updating existing systems to meet business needs
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience as a Payroll Manager of large scale Payroll Department
- Experience in payroll processes of companies with more than 500 headcount is a must
- Demonstrated experience of payroll process of different labor employment statuses (full time, part time, rotation etc.), especially in blue collar positions
- Extensive knowledge of payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, labor management & insurance issues Full understanding of Greek tax codes & regulations related to corporate accounting
- Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar studies
- Must have thorough understanding and demonstrated experience of Greek Legislation and Payroll rules
- Solid knowledge of SCAN HRMS (Epsilon Net) software will be considered a plus
- Excellent knowledge of English. Proven use of Business English is required (via occupation in working environments where English is utilized)
- Excellent PC Skills use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
