UNISON Group, in the framework of its strategic expansion, is looking to include a Facility Manager to its constantly growing team.
Location: Client Site, Northern Suburbs
Job Responsibilities
- Embrace and implement UNISON vision and values
- Act as the first contact point for Client, to resolve any queries and problems by feeling accountable for all aspects of the account
- Manage such matters as space and equipment utilization; prepare layout of workspaces for maximum effectiveness
- Responsible for the compilation and maintenance of all required management information/records relating to the client This includes asset register, emergency plans and all other related records and management reports
- Manages, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, janitorial work and other various services
- Considers opportunities for service improvements and efficiencies, cost savings or commercial gains for the client
- Proactively manages risk and deals with security issues across sites, escalating where appropriate
- Responsible for all financial costs and controls for the specific assigned account/client’s site
- Prepares management reports according to the schedule agreed with the client and assists Client with ad hoc reporting and data requests
- Monitor the proper and efficient implementation of global contract terms as agreed with respective Clients or responsibility
- Supervise all UNISON staff and external contractors and act as communication point of information.
- Manage and procure all necessary equipment and materials, in cooperation with the Procurement Department
- Fully implement Health, Safety and Environment procedures
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in respective positions as a Facility Manager or Facility Coordinator, either as in-house or part of a facility management company
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, Operations, or similar studies
- Experience in Global Accounts communicating with colleagues abroad regarding daily operations, trainings, reporting etc.
- IT oriented with ability to handle hardware, software and audiovisual systems (ΤV, Microphone, Microsoft Teams) efficiently, with a view to provide help to employees during Meetings
- Strong understanding of the financial aspects of projects, facility management and occupancy costs
- Has a good understanding of client needs for the site and can work proactively to meet their needs
- Experience in Account Management or Contract Management
- Previous experience managing contractors and third parties
- Excellent knowledge of English. Proven use of Business English is required (via occupation in working environments where English is utilized)
- Excellent PC Skills use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
